2018年5月25日，第16届威尼斯国际建筑双年展中国馆开幕。本次中国国家馆主题为“我们的乡村”，由策展人李翔宁教授主持。展览共六大板块，分别以“业、旅、社、文、居、拓”，展示中国建筑师近年的乡村实践作品。

本次展览致力于回到中国文化的发源地，寻找被遗忘的价值和被忽视的可能性，于此展望我们未来的乡村。TAO的两个作品——保山新寨咖啡庄园及武夷山竹筏育制场参与了本次展览的两个板块。

保山新寨咖啡庄园作为本次双年展中国馆的主展项，呈现了1:25的大比例实木模型。模型总长2.9米，宽0.9米。模型展现了建筑空间与其产业功能的关联，以此与中国馆主题相呼应。

On May 25, 2018, The Chinese Pavilion at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale is opened. The China Pavilion, Building a Future Countryside, is curated by Prof. Li Xiangning. The exhibition depicts the countryside of contemporary China through six episodes: poetic dwellings, local production, cultural practices, agricultural tourism, community reconstruction, and future exploration.

The exhibition traces back to the origin of Chinese cultures, trying to search for forgotten values and ignorant opportunities, in order to anticipate future developments in the countryside. TAO presents two projects, Xinzhai Coffee Manor and Wuyishan Bamboo Raft Factory in two exhibition episodes.

As Xinzhai Coffee Manor is a main project of this exhibition, TAO presents a 1:25 large-scale wood model with 2.9mx0.9m in size. This model shows how architectural spaces are related to industrial functions, which echoes the theme of this exhibition.
